Every child develops at their own pace, but there are general milestones to be aware of. If your child is not saying first words by 12–18 months, not combining words by age 2, or is difficult to understand by age 3, it's worth seeking an assessment. There's no harm in checking early — in fact, the earlier the better.
No referral is required to access our services privately. However, a referral from your GP under a Chronic Disease Management Plan may allow you to access Medicare rebates for up to 5 sessions per calendar year. For NDIS participants who are self or plan managed, your plan funding can be used directly. Contact us and we'll help you understand your options.
